Cup Coffee Maker - Great Coffee Every Time

I own a 1 cup coffee maker. Until recently, I always made a
pot of coffee every morning. My wife does not drink coffee, so I would
make enough for 3 or 4 cups. After waiting 5 minutes for the coffee to
brew, that first cup was great. And if I got to my second cup within
few minutes, it was not bad, after that I would usually throw it out
and start over. It was the cup I drank after 20 or 30 minutes after
brewing that started to taste old. One day I was at a client's office,
and I was offered a cup of coffee, and to my amazement it was one of
the best cups of coffee I had ever had. I asked what kind it was, and I
was told that it wasn't so much the coffee, as it was the single
serving coffee machine.
I always knew that good filtered water made a big difference, but now
I'm finding out that time and temperature also figure into the mix. My
drip coffee machine made my coffee the same way every day. It did not
matter what brand of coffee I used. Also, my drip machine only made
American style coffee. The only choice I had was the brand I used.
When I started looking into buying one of these one cup coffee makers,
I found that not only do they make regular coffee, but all kinds of
coffee like espresso, cappuccino, and lattes. Boy do I like latte. It
also made great tea, all kinds, and even hot chocolate. I still have my
old drip machine, for when we have company, but as soon as someone sees
the 1 cup coffee maker everyone wants to try it.
